When Approaching this design for a crisis center, privacy was paramount. Respecting the existing 400-year-old oak trees, the design includes secluded parking and distinct outdoor activity areas. These areas feature a covered pergola for classes, a meditation and yoga space enclosed by hedges, a small vegetable garden, a natural children's play area, and a large gathering space around a fire pit for events. The design also considers topography, water management, and accessibility for both wheelchairs and strollers, creating a safe haven for all
